Alligators, Crocodiles, Caiman, the Tomistoma and the Gharial

This 24″ x 36″ poster features photographs of twenty-seven of the world’s crocodilian species as well as several subspecies, all in natural settings. It is an ideal addition for high school and university sciences and biology labs, elementary and school classrooms, zoological parks, museums and environmental centers. This poster is the gift for anyone expert or novice, that appreciates or is interested in studying alligators and crocodiles. It’s also great for those interested in subjects such as dinosaurs, natural history, zoology and conservation.

The poster has been specially updated in 2024.

The poster was created by Bruce Shwedick, featuring images he has taken over the course of 4 decades working with crocodilians. Bruce’s photographs of crocodilians have been published in books and magazines as well as on web sites. They have been utilised as part of the resources for the AZA’s Crocodilian Biology and Captive Management course – a professional development course for zookeepers and aquarists. Additional images for this special edition have been contributed by biologists and photographers from around the world.

Proceeds from poster sales will support the development of our Center, and sustain our efforts to promote the understanding and conservation of the world’s crocodilians.
